Dr Epstein is, and has been on various professional bodies, both in the UK and abroad. She is a PhD examiner, a referee for the Medical Research Council, and an elected Board member of the World Voice Consortium, and a past President of The British Voice Association (2004-2005).

She is also a founder member and lecturer for The British Performing Arts Medicine Trust, and ‘in-house’ clinician to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, and the Guildhall School of Speech & Drama. More exotically, she also has worked with the International Beat-Boxing Association.
