Dr Epstein has extensive research interests, collaborating with a variety of colleagues and disciplines, resulting in publications and presentations in several countries.

Her international collaboration has resulted in her being appointed Adjunct Associate Professor on the MGH Institute of Health Professions Graduate Program in Boston. She also collaborates clinically with clinicians at the Centre for Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Rehabilitation at the Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA , the leading centre for innovation in ENT and laryngeal laser surgery.

‘Meet the Elephant Man’ – A recent unusual project undertaken for the Discovery Channel was being part of an international multi-disciplinary medical team, tasked to investigate what the Elephant Man was really like and how he died a hundred years ago, using today’s state of the art medical and computer techniques.
